Cobbosseecontee Lake Association, Maine

Graphic Design & layout, Graphic Illustrations, and Photo Editing

Cobbosseecontee Lake Association’s mission is to serve as proactive stewards of the lake committed to protecting and improving all aspects of water quality, lake beauty, wildlife, and enjoyment of the lake for current and future generations. Thimble Creek Creative worked with CLA to design the association’s first-ever lake health guide, which was mailed to all 1,000 homes around Cobbossee Lake. Thimble Creek Creative handled nearly every aspect of the guide’s creation, from font and color selection to graphic illustrations and photo editing, ensuring a cohesive and professional look. Only the core content and original lake photos were provided by CLA. See the full guide.

“Michelle designed a 20-page guide book for our lake association and did an OUTSTANDING job! She brought the information to life through engaging graphic design and original illustrations. In addition to being creative, Michelle was a pleasure to work with. She is professional, enthusiastic, dedicated and a wonderful collaborator. I would definitely hire her if you have the chance! I cannot wait to work with her again.”

Queer & Rural, Maine

Logo & Brand Identity

Queer & Rural is a podcast in Maine featuring stories of the lives of people who are queer and grew up or live in rural areas. Michaela wanted a logo with bold, round font and a graphic that showed the rolling fields of the rural county she grew up in.

“Thimble Creek has been a great creative and strategic partner in the beginning steps of my brand. I reached out to Michelle about creating a logo for a podcast I am starting. She took the time to ask me questions about the podcast, the brand and myself. I could tell she wanted to really understand the soul of the project and what it means to me personally. While she was designing the logo I changed my mind and the entire creative direction a couple times, and she flowed with me. It was easy to communicate opinions, get feedback and brainstorm together. I now have a logo I love, and brand kit standards I can use independently moving forward. She even gave me some great social media ideas that I will definitely be using!”
